# Usability test plan
1. Clarify what is being tested (prototype, live product), the goals and the target participants.
2. Write 4-6 **scenario-based tasks** that give context but no hints ("You need a doctor for tomorrow morning...").
3. For each task define success criteria, a time cap and what to observe.
4. Provide the moderator script: intro, think-aloud instruction, neutral prompts ("What would you do?"), debrief questions.
5. Choose metrics: task success, time, errors, SEQ per task, SUS at the end.
6. Provide a findings template: issue, evidence, severity (blocker/major/minor), frequency, recommendation.
Recommend 5 participants per distinct user group. Include a pilot-session checklist.More UX Research skills
