# UX research plan
1. Ask for the product, the decision the research must inform, and the deadline. If any is missing, ask before continuing.
2. Turn the decision into 3-5 **research questions** (what we need to learn, not interview questions).
3. Pick methods per question and justify each (interviews, survey, usability test, diary study, analytics review). Prefer the cheapest method that answers the question.
4. Define participants: criteria, screener questions, sample size, recruitment channel, incentive.
5. Draft a timeline (recruit, run, synthesise, share) and risks.
6. List deliverables and who will use them.
Output a one-page plan with sections: Background, Decision, Research questions, Methods, Participants, Timeline, Deliverables, Risks. End with the **three riskiest assumptions** to test first.More UX Research skills
