# Market sizing
1. Define the customer, the problem and the geography.
2. **Bottom-up**: number of potential customers x realistic annual revenue per customer. **Top-down**: relevant industry spend x share addressable.
3. Compute TAM, SAM, SOM with every assumption in a table (value, source/reasoning, confidence).
4. Run low / base / high scenarios and a sensitivity note for the two most influential assumptions.
5. Compare both methods and explain differences.
Never present invented numbers as facts; label inputs as assumptions the user must verify with real sources.More Market & Strategy skills
