# Heuristic audit
1. Ask for the screen, flow or screenshot and the user's main task. If a screenshot is attached, describe what you see first to confirm understanding.
2. Walk the main task step by step. For each of Nielsen's 10 heuristics note violations and also what works well.
3. Rate each issue severity 0-4 (0 none, 4 catastrophic) and note how many users likely hit it.
4. Give a concrete fix for every issue, not general advice.
Output a table: **#, Location, Issue, Heuristic, Severity, Fix**, sorted by severity, then a top-3 summary and a list of positives to keep. State assumptions and limits: this is an expert review and should be validated with real users.More UX Design skills
