Export Figma animations toreal video.
Motionly turns any Smart Animate or Motion-tab animation into MP4, MOV, GIF, or WebM — frame-perfect, exact prototype timing, no screen recording.
Everything Motionly Does
Built for designers who need a real export, not a screen recording.
MP4, MOV, GIF & WebM
Export to whichever format fits — MP4/WebM for full quality, GIF for universal compatibility.
Smart Animate & Motion tab
Reads both prototype Smart Animate transitions and Motion-tab (timeline) keyframe animations.
Exact prototype timing
Renders every frame of the transition directly — the export duration matches your prototype to the frame.
No screen recording
No cursor, no dropped frames, no browser chrome to crop out. A clean render every time.
FPS & scale control
Set frame rate (up to 60fps) and export scale (up to 4x on Pro) before every export.
Use on 3 devices
Pro licenses work on up to 3 computers at once, managed from your account page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Figma can export animations now — why use Motionly?
Figma’s built-in video export only covers animations made in the Motion tab. It does not export prototype Smart Animate transitions between frames — which is how most interactions are built. Motionly exports both: prototype flows (Smart Animate, Dissolve, Move, Push, multi-step chains) and Motion-tab timelines, to MP4, GIF, or transparent WebM.
What formats does Motionly export?
MP4, MOV, animated GIF, and WebM. MP4 and WebM keep full frame rate and color; GIF is downsampled to a 256-color palette, which is a limitation of the GIF format itself.
Is Motionly free?
Yes. The free plan includes 10 exports every calendar month, and the count resets on the 1st. Only exports that actually produce a file are counted — a failed or cancelled export never uses one up. Pro removes the limit entirely.
What does Motionly Pro cost?
Motionly Pro is a monthly subscription billed in US dollars through PayPal (PayPal balance or card). It renews automatically each month and you can cancel anytime from PayPal or your account page — you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Paying from India? PayPal can’t process payments between Indian buyers and Indian businesses, so use the “Paying from India?” link under the checkout button to pay in ₹ by UPI or card instead.
How do I activate Pro after paying?
If you start the upgrade from inside the plugin, Pro unlocks there automatically within a few seconds of paying — nothing to paste. Your license key is also shown on the confirmation page and emailed to you; to use it on another computer, open Motionly, click “Enter license key” and paste it.
Does Motionly work with Smart Animate and the Motion tab?
Yes, both. Motionly reads Smart Animate prototype transitions and Motion-tab (timeline) keyframe animations and can export either to MP4, MOV, GIF, or WebM.
How many devices can I use Motionly Pro on?
Pro licenses can be used on up to 3 computers at once. You can remove a device from your account page at any time to free up a slot.
